• Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum (28th Nov to 21st Dec 2014)

  A truly magical evening, not to be missed! Featuring a spectacular one mile illuminated trail highlighting the striking Westonbirt trees as they are lit up against the winter night sky. Each year is different so visitors can experience different specimens, paths and vistas in the tree collection. You can keep yourself warm with hot mulled wine and spend some time looking around the Christmas market there too.

• German-Themed Christmas Market (7th Nov to 22nd Dec 2014)

  Bristol’s shopping quarter at Broadmead will be filled with quaint wooden chalet-style stalls selling unique gifts, original homemade crafts and German-themed food and drink like Glühwein, Bratwurst and Lebkuchen. You can relax in the Bavarian beer garden between browsing stalls and enjoy the festive music from the Salvation Army band.

• 101 Dalmatians at the Tobacco Factory (26th Nov to 11th Jan 2015)

  This is being shown especially for Bristol audiences at Christmas, so make sure you book your tickets as soon as possible. Based on Dodie Smith’s much loved book ‘The Hundred and One Dalmatians’ this show will be dynamic and playful, employing bold visual storytelling and original live music, the perfect theatre performance the whole family can enjoy.

• Christmas at the Spiegeltent (4th Dec to 21st Dec 2014)

  Something every visitor should get involved in, this winter it will be the Spiegeltent’s 3rd year in Waterfront Square on Bristol Harbourside showing a line-up of live music, cabaret, comedy, Christmas parties, markets and much more! • At-Bristol Ice Rink (8th Nov to 6th Jan 2015)

  Get your skates on this winter! Enjoy ice skating with your friends and family on Bristol’s favourite Harbourside ice rink; remember to take along your woolly hat and gloves.
